About GeneticArt

Use the GeneticArt tool to evolve images that can be both beautiful and alien. The process is very simple, click on the images you like and let the program generate a new batch of images that are similar to the ones that you chose.

This GeneticArt implementation uses DelphiNEAT.

Kenneth Stanley (the original developer of the NEAT technology) has written a document where he analyses the process of evolving a spaceship using my GeneticArt program. You can read about it here.

A Learning Tool?

GeneticArt can be a fun toy, but it can also be a great learning tool for understanding Neural Networks, because you can change the Neural Network by hand and get instant feedback as to what effect the changes have. This is called god mode.

Store Your Favorites

You can store your favorite images for later viewing. You can even continue evolving a favorite at a later date.

You can zoom in on any image and save it as a jpeg or bmp file.
